With ZENSO, the designer duo Formstelle has developed a chair family with a sculptural character. Actually, the chair family should be called "Enso". The round circles follow the motif of Ensõ, a symbol of Japanese calligraphy: although Ensõ is a symbol and not a letter, it is one of the most common drawings in Japanese calligraphy. It symbolizes enlightenment and elegance, the universe and emptiness, but also symbolizes the Japanese aesthetic itself. As an "expression of the moment."

The expressive wooden frame takes two floating circles, seat shell and backrest. The frame is made of solid wood, the seat and back shell of molded wood and optionally upholstered. In this case, the seat upholstery is always fully upholstered, the back shell with overlying cushion. ZENSO is available either with seat and back shell in wood, with upholstered seat and back shell, or with seat upholstery and back shell in wood.
