The MANTA chair series from VONDOM is versatile. From cantilever chairs to elegant wooden or aluminum legs and a version with castors.
VONDOM - MANTA series
The MANTA collection from VONDOM offers versatile chairs for indoor and outdoor use. The Manta chair adapts perfectly to any environment, whether at home, in the office or in public spaces. Thanks to the interchangeable design of the seat shell and base, numerous combinations are possible. The curved shape of the polypropylene seat shell adapts seamlessly to the human body. The base is available in four versions: wood, metal, with castors or as a round tubular cantilever chair. A swivel function is also available depending on the choice of frame. The version with castors improves functionality in the office. The version with wooden legs conveys casual luxury without sacrificing comfort. The MANTA series can also be used outdoors as it is made of hard-wearing polypropylene and metal. The protruding backrest and armrests exude elegance.
VONDOM - MANTA by Design EUGENI QUITLLET
The Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet was born in Ibiza in 1972. He studied at the art school "La Llotja" in Barcelona and made a name for himself with installations for renowned cultural institutions such as the Joan Mirò Foundation. He currently lives and works in Paris as a disoñador, a combination of the Spanish words for designer and dreamer. Through his creative vocabulary, he overcomes simple relationships between function and style to unveil innovative objects. In January 2016, he was named Designer of the Year by Maison & Objet Paris.
