The stackable HIDRA chair from VONDOM is weather-resistant, lightweight and can be stacked to save space.
VONDOM - HIDRA series
The HIDRA collection by Vondom is inspired by the curved and sensual shapes of the La Pedrera building. This modern chair plays with waves and aspires to become part of a perpetual motion that imitates the infinite and undulating movement of the sea. The shape of this chair is designed to save space while offering lightness and comfort. VONDOM is known for its innovative production of functional furniture that breaks conventional design rules. VONDOM - HIDRA by Design EUGENI QUITLLET
The Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet was born in Ibiza in 1972. He studied at the art school "La Llotja" in Barcelona and made a name for himself with installations for renowned cultural institutions such as the Joan Mirò Foundation. He currently lives and works in Paris as a disoñador, a combination of the Spanish words for designer and dreamer. Through his creative vocabulary, he overcomes simple relationships between function and style to unveil innovative objects. In January 2016, he was named Designer of the Year by Maison & Objet Paris.
