"With NONOTO we have realized our first pure solid wood chair. The fascinating thing about this project: the design of a solid wood chair is pure design. A solid wood chair can only captivate through the expression of its form; technical factors play a subordinate role. Nature provides the material, the designer has to do the rest. Everything we have learned in 15 years about the design of chairs is contained in this concept: NONOTO is a sculpture.

Viewed from all directions, it is emblematic and touches the viewer emotionally. At the same time, NONOTO is a real chair. It is made for sitting, which means statics, weight and long-term sitting comfort are highly sophisticated. NONOTO is designed unplugged, but is manufactured on state-of-the-art CNC-controlled machines."

ZEITRAUM processes only hardwoods from sustainable forestry and does not use any chemical treatment of the wood. The surfaces, left open-pored with biological oils, allow the furniture to breathe and retain its naturalness.<
