Design: Studio Vondom

Studio Vondom 's design collection combines the millennia-old Japanese art of paper folding with avant-garde, contemporary design. Inspired by the simplicity and sophistication of origami, this collection brings the essence of simplified geometry to the outdoors through an exquisite selection of animals and faceted vases.

Each piece, the result of a meticulous design process, captures the intrinsic beauty of geometric shapes and invites a sensory experience where light and shadow create captivating visual spectacles.

Tori & Kotori: The depiction of the bow is the most direct allusion to the art of origami. With Tori, the tall one, and Kotori, the short one, these pieces capture the essence of origami in its purest form, symbolizing peace, health and happiness.

Their presence evokes the delicacy and intricate detail of origami, combining technical precision with deep emotional and cultural meaning.

Usagi, Neko, Kitsune & Inu: This collection includes the most popular animal companions of Japanese ideology: the rabbit, the cat, the fox and the dog. Each animal, available in standard and mini sizes - Kousagi (small rabbit), Koneko (kitten), Kokitsune (fox) and Koinu (puppy) - reflects the grace and cunning of these animals and the importance of the names in Japanese culture.

These pieces allow for a personal connection to origami art and invite the viewer to interpret their symbolism in a unique way.
