It’s that time of year again—the big issue of pre-Christmas delivery times
Every year, we talk to customers about the same thing: If you want to receive your dream piece of furniture, your fireplace, your designer Christmas tree, or your patio umbrella in time for the holidays, you need to keep an eye on delivery times. This time, we’re just putting it in writing—so everyone can read it.
Our products offer numerous options for customization: Mawa lights with control options such as leading-edge and trailing-edge dimming, 1–10 volts, DALI, Dim2Warm, or Casambi Bluetooth. GlammFire fireplaces are available with either automatic or mechanical ignition, a decentralized ethanol supply, or as custom-made models. For umbrellas, you can choose between a valance, a wind canopy, and various mounting options—from ground sleeves to be set in concrete, to base stands (with casters upon request), to base plates that screw into the ground. Optional extras such as integrated lighting or radiant heaters are also available. That’s why we recommend contacting us well in advance—we’ll be happy to assist you with your selection and ensure your order arrives in time for Christmas.
We’re not trying to pressure anyone into making a quick purchase. However, the fact is: If you order too late, you can no longer expect delivery before Christmas—and in many cases, that also means no delivery at all this year. Starting in the third week of December, many manufacturers go on their holiday break. This means products must be manufactured and handed over to the shipping company beforehand. Additionally, shipping companies operate on a limited basis starting December 24, and regular operations don’t resume until January.
That’s why we’re reminding you: If you want to be sure to have certain products at home by Christmas, you should order and plan ahead. Here’s an overview of the most important delivery times—from furniture and fireplaces to lighting and umbrellas.
