The traditional wood-burning fireplace - loved and warming at all times. Heating the house with a crackling fire is nothing new. The bioethanol fireplace - a novelty in this field - is considered in many places as an equal alternative to the wood fireplace. We think: He is even the better alternative, because he saves not only the purse, but also the environment. You could also say: an ethanol fireplace has numerous advantages.

Efficiency of the fireplace with bioethanol or wood: A big advantage of the ethanol fireplace is that the waste heat of the wood fire is omitted. Instead of disappearing largely through the chimney, the heat goes directly into the room where the fireplace is located, with an efficiency of 100%. A wood-burning fireplace, on the other hand, has an efficiency of only 70%. The Vauni ethanol fireplace achieves a maximum heat output of 2-3 kW. The heat is delivered directly and selectively, and can thus serve as a supplement to existing heating systems. In most cases, a Vauni produces just the right amount of heat for a cozy supplementary heating system. With ethanol fuel for the Vauni fireplace, the heating value is nearly four times that of wood. Thus, a Vauni ethanol fireplace is significantly more energy efficient than a wood fireplace for the same amount of heat. Choosing an ethanol fireplace also avoids the climate pollution and air pollution that wood fires can cause not only to the surrounding area, but as far away as the Arctic.

Saving money and time: choosing the right fireplace can save even more money. If you choose an ethanol-fueled fireplace, you are only buying the fireplace and the fuel. On the other hand, if you invest in a wood-burning fireplace, a building permit for a chimney must first be obtained, then the fireplace and chimney must be purchased and installed and approved. In addition, there are the costs of sweeping and regular purchase of wood. The price of installing a wood-burning fireplace is almost 2.5 times the price of buying and simply putting up a Vauni fireplace. Plus, with an ethanol fireplace, you save time and space. There is no need to store wood, and the fire can be lit easily without the need for kindling cubes, newspaper or the like. The ethanol fireplace warms directly with high power!

Bioethanol - a natural product: Bioethanol is not only a cheaper fuel than wood for a cozy additional heating. Bioethanol is also a clean and renewable natural product. Heating with your Vauni fireplace is therefore climate and environmentally neutral. Our Vauni Ecoflame Premium and Vauni Ecoflame Supreme fuels are 100% environmentally friendly and renewable. The bioethanol is made from potatoes, grain, corn, cellulose and similar raw materials. The combustion process is completely clean. Only extremely small amounts of carbon dioxide and water vapor are formed during heating. In fact, not much more carbon dioxide is emitted than when you exhale. When you heat with a fuel from Vauni, you can be sure that the combustion will take place without soot, smoke or ash. That is why Vauni fireplaces and bioethanol burners do not require a chimney - an active choice for environmentally friendly heating. But also for a fireplace with high performance.

Ethanol - the fireplace with the best performance: the bottom line is that the cost of your cozy additional heating per season can be practically halved if an ethanol fireplace is used instead of a wood-burning fireplace. With a bioethanol fireplace from Vauni and bioethanol as fuel, you will heat your rooms in an innovative and environmentally friendly way. The ethanol fireplace - just as popular and warming as the wood fireplace, especially gentle on nature and your wallet.

DIN 4734 applies to all fireplaces operated with liquid fuels. These are decorative devices that produce a flame using a liquid or gel-based ethanol fuel. The standard was developed by the working group "Decorative Fireplaces & Ethanol Fireplaces," which includes renowned German and international manufacturers, in collaboration with the HKI Industrial Association (House, Heating, and Kitchen Technology). The DIN specifies requirements for the design, operation, and labeling of ethanol fireplaces. Another aspect of standard 4734 concerns the instructions and in-house production control requirements. Some manufacturers, such as GlammFire and Vauni, already offer safe ethanol fireplaces and burners that comply with this standard.
