The Fontana 1853/1 Grande table lamp from Fontana Arte adds a pretty accent to any living room. It combines the classic shade with a bulbous frame and goes well with dark and bold colors thanks to its white appearance.

It has a three-way switch. This allows you to switch on either the lamp in the upper part of the shade or just the lamp in the bulbous part. The third option is, of course, to switch on both lamps at the same time. The shade of the Fontana Grande table lamp is made of white, blown and satined Murano glass and the frame is made of lacquered metal. In contrast, the mains cable and switch are black. This pretty table lamp can also be used in multiple ways, as it is not too obtrusive and can be found in different places in the room.
It has a reflector in the upper lampshade that also casts the light upwards. These features make the 1853/1 Grande table lamp a classic with that certain something.

Founded in 1932, FontanaArte is one of the Italian design companies that has contributed to the “history of lamps and interior design” in Italy and in the world. Born from the idea of an architect, the company has always worked closely with the design sector, gradually involving the most important Italian and international architects and lighting designers who, together with the company, have built a real cultural project on architecture, lighting and interior design. A culture of design based on the use of precious materials (primarily glass) has had its main idea in the interaction between technology and beauty, giving rise to a series of timeless objects of splendid shapes, some of which have become design classics exhibited in the most important museums in the world. Since December 2010, FontanaArte can count on a solid industrial base and on the new international impulse of Nice SpA, a group that designs, manufactures and markets systems for the automation of gates, garage doors, road barriers and parking systems, sunshades and wireless alarm systems: an ideal meeting between two guarantors of Made in Italy quality that have always focused on design and innovation for the home.
