VONDOM VELA - Geometric clarity, modular comfort & architectural light
VELA - Modular design collection by Ramón Esteve for VONDOM
The VONDOM VELA collection was designed by Ramón Esteve as a comprehensive modular system for outdoor and contract areas. The aim of the series is to transfer the comfort and value of indoor furniture to outdoor spaces without losing its functional properties. VELA combines clear geometry with balanced proportions and creates a timeless, architectural design language.
Modular furniture & planters with a floating appearance
Characteristic of VELA are the flat volumes with a prismatic basic shape, which give the impression of floating a few centimetres above the ground. The individual modules can be flexibly combined and adapted to different room concepts - from private terraces to large-scale commercial projects.
Illuminated elements as light architecture
With optional lighting, VELA lounge furniture, daybeds, bar furniture and planters can be transformed into architectural light objects. The integrated lighting emphasizes the geometric design language and creates atmospheric accents in gardens, lounges or pool areas - especially in the evening hours.
High-quality materials & long-lasting quality
The VELA collection is made from linear low-density polyethylene using a rotational molding process. The material is 100% recyclable, UV-resistant and resistant to extreme climatic conditions from -60 °C to +80 °C. VELA is available in matt and illuminated versions for permanent outdoor use. VELA is also available in a lacquered version for indoor use.
