GlammFire - The advantages of an ethanol fireplace over wood
A significant advantage of an ethanol fireplace is that the usual waste heat from a wood fire is eliminated. Instead of most of the heat escaping up the chimney, all the heat remains in the room, which means 100% efficiency. In comparison, a wood-burning fireplace only achieves an efficiency of 70 %. The ethanol fireplace from GlammFire offers a maximum heat output of 2 to 4.5 kW. This heat is emitted directly into the room in a targeted manner, making the fireplace an ideal addition to existing heating systems.
